Why Project Management by 3s ?

During my 30+ years as a Projects Manager, I’ve often seen my peers struggle due to limited understanding of basic Project Management principles.  This applies, not only to those just starting-out, but also established professionals.

The world is awash with Project Management courses, some more helpful than others.  What they all have in common is:-

• Limited/Academic thinking, i.e. trotting-out the same old, partially applicable, formulae, which does not reflect the real-world of Projects Management.
• Time consuming, i.e. basic principles, which could be explained in a few hours, take days, weeks or even months, whist still leaving students confused.
• Expensive, due to the amount of material required for these lengthy courses, they tend to be far too expensive.

Many would have you believe that Projects Management is a complex and daunting profession, however, the by 3s model, described in this course, demonstrates that Projects Management can be easy and inexpensive to learn, and easy to remember.

Project Management by 3s is NOT a new, gimmicky approach to this subject, quite the contrary, it reflect real-world project fundamentals which form the back-cloth to all projects; large or small and of whatever discipline.
